A Very Entertaining Read!!!, Reviewer: Four eyed lady "Darcy" (Vermont, USA) - I enjoyed the characters very much. The musical portions were wonderful because I could almost hear music. I would love to read a sequel to this book. I also thought it would be really cool if there was a prequel and Clara's life would be the main story. She struck me as a very interesting charactar and possible protagonist to another love story. Lastly, the author made me feel like I was part of the Ashlyn family. Very enjoyable!

Could not put the book down,  Reviewer: Zenaida Ronette "Zeeronette" (Chicago, Il) - See all my reviews Rarely happens to me. I usually nurse a book. I got caught up with Michael (and of course Charity) who could be a spin-off for another book. He struck me as someone who wasn't only brilliant as an artist but was the most underrated character in the story. There were images in my head of a movie based on Michael's story. Imagine how exciting if Hollywood would search worldwide for the right actor to play this part. Cool story. Cool first time author. Unusual, unexpected, different, entertaining, June 20, 2004 Reviewer: A reader The author of Coming Home sounds like a fan of other authors Danielle Steel, Jude Deveraux, Sheldon, Krantz. When I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. It has a very different unexpected ending and quite a new twist compared to the usual romance novels. The plot and storyline is so well developed that you don't even wonder whatever became of the romance, as one expects from these novels. I would definitly recommend you if you like romance, to buy this book. It's well worth the effort and I know you won't be able to put it down, just like me. Great job pod author (is that the term?). I can't wait for your next one.

Two thumbs up (or more?), Reviewer: "selenalacson" (Teaneck, New Jersey) - See all my reviews Within the first few pages I knew that Charity Ashlyn had the kind of strong character that would make me flip from page to page as fast as I could. I couldn't put the book down. I just kept reading and reading and reading. The author, a POD or print on demand author named AMAPOLA is in the tradition of the Jacqueline Susann, Judith Krantz and Jackie Collins but slightly milder. Miss Amapola simply knows how to tell a good story. I found myself thinking about the story a lot, and have picked up the book to review some chapters. It brought back memories of my reading when I was younger, when reading a book was pure entertainment and there were no computers to distract me.

A most refreshing book.
Two thumbs up! Someone get this on the Hollywood screen fast! Amapola, get a screenplay on this quickly. Hugh Jackman would be the perfect Michael Byron. Charity Ashlyn brings to mind the young Michelle Pfeiffer. Award winning book delivers, April 3, 2004 Reviewer: A reader Heard of the book from a writers website and was curious about the entertainer turned author Amapola. Was most impressed with her first novel. The story could be a great vehicle for Julianne Moore or Kate Winslet type dramatic actors. The character Charity Ashlyn invokes woman empowerment as she becomes stronger and stronger through her trials and tribulations. A comment here from another reader mentioned Clara Ashlyn which I presume the author had already envisioned a possible other book, perhaps what they call a prequel. My favorite character in this book is little Eddie. I wanted to find out how he was doing. Thank you for the pleasure. I am not a romantic novel reader but my wife Naida bought the book and I started with a few pages and could not put it down. All the luck in the world to the author Amapola. My wife and I wish her a successful venture into this highly competetive world. Most enjoyable reading.

Could not put it down, Reviewer: Darcy Mullins (Denver, Colorado) - See all my reviews I keep imagining a film, a saga of this family. I wanted to learn more about Charity's mother's origin, perhaps a prequel would be in order. Then a sequel featuring Charity's daughter. The author's descriptions of the past era is authentic and detailed writing about what people wore, or what they ate reminded me of a very well filmed movie. The book conjured a lot of visualization on my part as a reader. Michael the violinist should have been given more chapters. I found him the most intriguing of all of Charity's lovers. Charity's brother and sister are also interesting. Like I said, i could not put the book down. Look forward to the next. This author rocks!
